I would have to say that this zebrawood has been the hardest thing that I have turned so far. Regular zebrawood seems to turn easy, but this was like turning a rock.

Wow, x-cut zebra was my biggest seller for the first half of last year. I've heard that it's really tough to turn, in fact, I blew out the only one I have tried. Some padauk can be just as tough to turn. The result, if you have patience and sharp tools, can be fantastic.
Nice work. That is the best zebrawood pen I've ever seen.

Great looking pen!! Is the wood really that orange? The zebra I have used is more of a tanish. I know woods can be different, I got spoiled with a paela blank I got from Dario that was much oranger than any other I have turned.
