I figure I had nothing else to do right now besides a milion other things, so I made a Buckeye burl worthless wood slimline. It has 6 coats of CA and the resin is some of my photochromic. I had this blank sitting around and wanted to do something a little different.

Love it.

For a long while I tended to shy away from slimlines for high-end blanks myself, but I think it's been to my detriment and I'm starting to make more of them again (and am about to try a few CSUSA clickers). At least in my experience, some people just really want a slender pen, no matter how nice some big fat capped pen or even a Sierra looks, but they still want it to have interesting / attractive material. I could sell that one in a heartbeat.

(Have to admit I also shy away from slimlines just because they're harder to make than most, at least for me. There's just absolutely no hiding even the slightest OOR or mismatch on the transition from the barrel to the tip.)
