Got the blank from one of my visits to Curtis. Will need to take apart because the blank was turned a little larger than the Sierra. Others are Honduran Rosewood Gent, Turqoiuse tru-stone statesman, and a Blue Lapiz that was a pain to turn.

The rosewood and Oak are CA finished.

Coment welcome. Good or bad.

Both you and Curtis do very nice work....I'm going to need some of the government stimulus before I can buy more blanks, though.

Thanks guys,
I just got to figure out why some of the pics have a "amber" tint to them they were all taken under the same conditions, set up, time. The only thing that may be a little different could be the placements of the lights. Im talking inches, or maybe the angle of the pen??

Any Ideas about this?

Maybe the camera setting was set to "wood" and I forgot to set it to "tru-stone"....
