A cast I did from some wood recieved from Rob Archer(railrider1920).Don't know what the wood is but it is hard.Looks like some sort of Oak.Any guesses?

Great looking pen and cast..perhaps a brazilian or african walnut, maybe bolivian Rosewood?

I like it. It turned out really cool. Cant wait to see the others.
Jeff, it was in a pile of fire wood that has been on the ground for about 2 years. Most of the wood is some type of oak, but there were some pieces of what I think is sycamore in the pile too.
