Would you be upset too? Rattle snake pen

I casted 2 sets of rattle snake. The other pen not shown was not useable. Some of the scales seemed not to be fully attached and although they did not detached I got some parts like the resin did not bond well, plus some PR zipped through the cork into the tubes.
This one was the one without flaws until I removed the cork at the ends, I noticed as I was working the cork ends out I created the white on one or two ends and then when I pressed the pen togheter I messed up all ends.
What are the tips for removing the end corks and pressing the hardware in? without creating the air or whatever that is between PR and skin.

That white looks like something de-bonded. I don't think you pushed air, but maybe the skin wasn't adhered well, or the PR didn't set up correctly?

BTW, where do you guys get your skins now?
