I turned a Pine Cone into a cigar?
Premier Cigar (chrome) Wrapped in a Pine Cone (Long Leaf Pine) CA finish topped with Ren wax. Also did a couple of key rings.
Thanks for looking and comments welcome.

I love doing those. I have some I need to do (along with dozens of other pens) I love the fact they look like ostrich skin.

So, were the ends sawed off then turned between centers to get to the core or were they cast?

Wayne it was not cast. What I did was cut away every thing down to the core of the cone, then cut to size, drilled and turn. That`s the hard way.Tools must be very sharp and take small cuts. That will indeed try ones patiences and nerves.

To simplify after I cut to lenght drilled and tubed I then soaked it good with CA then turned. Had to soak again before it was completed. This way makes life easier and less apt to blow out.

Hope this helps.
