Just wanted to post a couple of pens I completed this last weekend. The first is an Imperial in Bog Oak and Silver/Amber resin, while the second is a Jr. Statesman in Stained Glass Cebloplast.

Cheers!

Love your pens Eric!

They are both great but love that bog oak! That's the first wood and resin combo I've seen with bog oak. The finish is fantastic!

Warren,
It took me about five tries to get that finish where it is (and it still shows some sanding marks). I guess I haven't been doing enough wood pens lately and I lost my touch with the CA. I finished the pen a week before and after getting a good look at it, I tore it down, stripped it and tried four more times before got a finish I could live with.

I found the blank at Exotic and I think it was the last one they had. I love the subtle play between the wood and the resin, but I fear that it may be too subtle for my customers. We'll see.
