Worthless Tycoon

This Tycoon is for a Friend at work, She loves her BMW :banana: so that is the reason for the insert. She also wanted something with Fall Colors, I had a bunch of pieces of pine cone laying around so I stuck them in a mold and mixed up some ALUMILITE, clear orange and pearl yellow. Then they went in to the PP at 60 PSI so that it would go all the way in to the pine cone. The finish is 10 coats of thin CA, and MM to 12,000.

It's the best way I have found so far, It has some great detail on the inside.

Thanks Cris, The Alumilite dyes are great. Every one that sees the orange is just amazed at the way it looks. The photos do not really show the dept in this color. This was a 6 oz pour (4 orange and 2 yellow) and I used 6 drops of dye in the orange and 5 drops in the yellow and a 1/2 of tsp of pearl powder.

Well I gave her the Pen this morning and she was absolutely astounded by it. She claimed it is the most beautiful thing that any one has ever given to her in all of her ## years. :biggrin:
