Antler on a Winchester 25-06. Brass casing and Copper projectile nib cleaned with extra fine steel wool, polished with FLITZ, wiped down with Acetone and applied 4 coats of lacquer using my "Dipping method".
Caribou antler sanded 400X, applied 6 coats of Med CA, buffed with super fine steel wool and polished with Huts Ultra Gloss.
Unfortunately Woodland Caribou antler dose not have much coloring like Deer or Elk antler.

Les that is a Magnificant Pen,
The Caribou Antler Blank has an impressive "Ivory" look about it, most Spectacular.
Would you like to share your Lacquer "Dipping method"?
Your Fit, Finish, and your Photographs are Fantastic.
Congratulations.
Brian.
