You inspire the rest of us, my thoughts now involve having the kids draw something on veneer and turning it into a gift for mother or grandma. Fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

well, I bit the bullet and bought a Xyron machine. I see endless possibilities for that thing or at least a way to speed up a few things.

Heartfelt thanks to Jim, Brian, David, JP, Layne, and Phil!

Brian - You've just given me an idea - tiny colorific city skyline pens, night and day! - thanks, Friend.

Phil - the Xyron is versatile, and does indeed expand creative options - in and out of pen making. I used it recently to help a friend wallpaper his daughter's doll house interior with her drawings.

Layne - great idea!

And thanks to Charlie W's pyrography suggestion, I'm starting a little series of PyroColor pens - nice chance to color-then-burn, burn-then-color, or some of each. This morning's first effort was turn-then-color-then-burn (ready for CA finish) - will post steps after the little family is formed:

Happy Sunday to all - Bob

Sincere thanks for kind words, Mark!

Always glad to share the little discoveries - far short of a Nobel Pen Prize, but intrepid nonetheless.
