Since I get my message via email I forget to log on and post pics ...

Our local store is re-doing how the pen kits are displayed and I've been helping out by turning some for the new display.

From this -

First up is a Wall Street II in Black TI and Gold TI with a piece of local Russian Olive wood.

Finish is eight coats of Tru-Oil and and buffed with Brasso.

Second pen is a Wall Street II Click Pen with Black TI and / WSC Gold and Red (Doug) Fir Bark.

Finish is Plexi-Acetone and buffed with Brasso.

It is a Elegant Beauty in Black TI and wearing a nice piece of Honduran Rosewood Burl.

Finished with 4 cots of a plexi-acetone concoction and polished with Brasso and then a coat of Mequires Gold.

Top pen is Ebony with a Amboyna Center with Curly Maple bands.

Middle Pen is Curly Birch with an Ebony Center and Blood Wood bands.

Bottom pen is Black Walnut Burl with Blood Wood center and Curly Maple bands.

Finish is 3 - 4 coats of thick Plexi-Acetone and polished with plastic polish and NU Finish.

What is "Plexi-Acetone"?

Nice to see Woodcraft catching up with Rockler after what, 4 years?

Maybe they can keep something in stock!

Maybe only in states that start with W!!

We have had it for quite a while---most turned by the owners' daughter (20 yo or so).
