Can you help me figure out what this is? It came with a bunch of mixed blanks.

It has the density of a maple burl, but the grey two toned color of some buckeye burl.

It seems to have both burl and birds eyes

It even seems to have hints of quilting.

Here is its full listing

Thanks

I'm kind of leaning towards box elder too. It seems to have some bird's eye in it and I don't think that that is a characteristic of buckeye.

Without being able to feel and smell it while cutting it, it is tough to tell for sure. I am leaning towards maple burl. I have seen quite a bit of maple burl with the grayish streak running through it. I have not seen any box elder with tan patches in it.

If it were quite dense, I would lean towards one of the Aussie burls, such as brown mallee or one of the box burls.

The eyes make me think box elder but the gray in it makes me think buckey burl but I have also had maple burl with grey and tan in it. Although Ive never had a firm density in buckeye and if it were stablized it would be very dusty when sanding. Could very well be Maple burl
