I was lucky enough to answer Robutacion's question #6 correctly and score a box of blanks. I had been saving a Rhodium Jr Gent FP for a special blank and this is the result.

That was a fun contest. While not a winner, I enjoyed following along. He sent you a great blank, indeed and you turned it into a thing of beauty.

Dave, your second pic is useless, it comes out as a blur but the first one shows well the pen, kit and blank.

Yours is the third pen I saw from the 10 winners, seven to got...!:wink:

Is not a lot more I can say about the wood used, apart from enjoying seeing it done up brilliantly, that blank does show well the treasures within a treasure, all the digging, excavating, mud, rocks and whatever troubles we had to bring them to light and give them some life, becomes all worth it when I see results such as yours, you done an excellent job with it, thank you...!

Good luck with the other 7 blanks...!
