This was from a tree that a friend had cut down two years ago. The burls have been sitting in another friends garage since I brought them home. I underturned this one a bit, but I got to the point where I was just ready to stop rather than risk messing it up more. It's actually more noticeable in my pics than it is in my hand.

Nice piece of wood. My suggestion when you are a little proud on your turning, would be to take a fine metal file and round over the corners. That way it will match the round bead on the band and feel smooth to the touch. Jim S
