My friend Bob makes blanks.
He makes so many blanks for me I might as well just give him access to my bank account. :)
I ask for this or for that, and he does it. My customers say yes or no, and I tell Bob what they thought, and usually we're very happy.
So I buy Bob's blanks. :)

Here are a few of my pens from the last couple of months using blanks made by Bob. (I'm loving the alliteration here)

This is one I finished tonight. His red and black over brass tubes. The customer wanted a heavy pen. 6" open and 6.5" closed.

A two nib pen with a brown and blue gray that my wife had asked for.

Some solid colors that I needed. Easy to do but important for this pen.

Thanks everybody!

The dual nib is a two chamber eyedropper fill pen. Two chambers, two colors, two nib sizes.

The matte black is getting an urushi finish by Ernest Shin of Hakumin urushi, which is why it's matte. It will be a rich dark blue when it's done.

They are all rather spectacular pens. And Bob is quite skilled at creating unique blanks. The combo of your pen making skills and Bob's genius blanks is terrific. Well done to both of you.

I think the Orange & black is my favorite, followed by the 1st red. I really want to see the black when it's got the urushi finish.
