Whitetail and Walnut

Caution its bright was taken with my phone a decent camera is on my long list of things to buy. I think if I ever run into the guy from the woodcraft video that said penturning is a inexpensive hobby im gonna strangle him,
Its just a slimline but and the walnut didnt look as good put together as i thought it would in my head any and all comments good and bad more then welcome
Tried clearing the photos up a little bit but had to put them back to original wouldnt let me upload them edited

Personally, I like the combination of walnut with antler. Oh, and before you finish strangling the woodcraft guy, give him a few kicks for me.:angry: I think what I heard was "Once you have a lathe, it's only the cost of the wood."

I think it looks good. If you don't like it, you can always turn a lower barrel from antler, an upper from walnut, and then you will have two pens (one all antler and one all walnut).
