Bet ya'll been thinkin'....ah, he forgot how to cut wood, spin it, and finish it?
Even if you guys/gals haven't been thinking this, I have! Finally dispatched all those PR Bottle Stopper blanks the wife had poured....but I will be in trouble Wednesday when her four gallons of PR shows up!
These pieces of White Oak were set aside while I was cutting up blanks last fall...although each one was too short to be sold as a full 5-1/4" blank, I figured I could made get something out of them....just too purty to throw away!

Think each one got 7-8 coats mediumCA, and then I sanded through all the pretty colored pads, and touched it with some MacGuire's PlastixPolish. Before the finish was applied, sanded 400, 800, and then EEE'd it...

Of course, special thanks to Rick for the closed-end pin chucks! These ROCK!
Pen will be given away on Groundhogs Day!!

Great pen Scott, but now I'm curious, will the person who gets the pen be required to see their shadow or not see their shadow in order to receive it?

I don't think so....at least inside the office where she works the sun won't be out....

Looks good. When are you going to do some custom finial caps?

I know, I know...it needs to happen.

Thanks everyone!
