My Black and White cigar pen. I've been working on the blank for this pen for the last few days. Cutting the parts gluing them up. I used Wenge and Avodire both were in the pack of blanks Evelyn me for Christmas. I'm fairly happy with the look. Any and all comments are welcome.

Dan,

I just read an article on that exact design.
A quick way to make the blank without cutting all the pieces and gluing them together is, if you have a router, to use a forty-five degree bit and cut the v-grooves in a piece of wood. Do the same for a corresponding piece and glue the two pieces together. Much faster and accurate. I just thought I would share.

Wow Thanks for all the great comments. Scott I've been thinking about trying guitar picks. I may give your idea a try 08K.80.

I can't take credit for it, it's not my idea. It's something I read and had the opportunity to pass along the information. I hope it helps you to make more beautiful pens.
