Western Emperor in Abalone!

I got the opportunity to make a couple of abalone pens and just love these! I made a custom final for the cap to match the rest of the pen. Hope you like it!

You did a great job on doing something that is a known winner...the beautiful Paua abalone. This enhanced by your finial treatment. NICE!

I see a little "presto-change-o", using the front end from an oriental dragon. This looks great here, but unfortunately a dragon pen will suffer the loss.
(I think the underlying reason for that mandatory loss has something to do with Einstein's theory of relativity.:biggrin
