Many years ago, 1986, my parents had a well known local woodworker build a winged table made from Wenge and Zebra wood. It was a beautiful piece. Unfortunately it did not survive a move of theirs. I could not see the wood get scraped and have been hanging on to the wood for about 15 years. Solid Wenge base and 1 1/2 inch thick zebra wood top. Hated to cut the table but will get many projects out of this wood. The first project was pens for my parents to give them their wood back in a different form. May try a bowl or two in the near future.

Wow, don't you just love "Wood Reincarnation".
Creating terrific Pens, from salvaged timber, with a strong family connection.
In particular, when the timber is so beautiful and exotic, then is matched perfectly with great Pens.
Your Fit and Finish is exemplary
Congratulations,
Brian.
