Here is the first pen I've done since mid-December. Black Titanium Tapa Pacifica. Wood is Wenge. Finish is CA then MM to 12k and 2 apps of PlastX Pics suck, but I had a rough day. I got 1 out of 3 planned pens done, and didn't have the patience for a better photo lol. Comments/critiques encouraged. Thanks for the blank Victor.

Jason, that is a nice piece of Wenge, isn't Wenge fun to finish?? yours looks super, that coarse grain is normally a real bear to get a gloss like that.

Actually, I was motivated to do it because of the one that JWS did. He got his freebie from Victor from an order, as did I. I didn't notice that it was a very hard wood really. As for the grain, I did have to hit it with a small CA slurry to fill a couple of voids, but very minor. Probably couldn't even tell if I didn't do it, but I would've known it was there, you know how it is. But, it's smooth as all get out now.......
