Here is the first Dymondwood I have ever done and the second Designer (PSI). This will be a Christmas Gift for a coworker of my wife.

This is a Comfort pen (no bushing) in red oak that I like the way it turned out. The word 'carrot' comes to mind.

Ahead of the curve. Waaay ahead.
What Dymondwood is that? Royal Jacaranda?

Does it have that chatoyancy (changing luminescence) when you move it around? I think I see some in the bronze bands.

Very, very nice.

Good work, Tony!!

Tackling diamondwood takes nerve, and you did a great job on it.

If you don't already know it, after you "face" the blanks, put thin CA on the ends (a fair amount) and wait until the next day to turn. This will reduce diamondwood's desire to "chip out" at the fittings.

YOURS does NOT show any chipout, so you may already know this.[:D][:D]
