Here's a pen I was able to finish this weekend after my grand daughter finished her pens. On weekends I have to schedule my lathe time around them.

This is a Navigator with a segmented blank of Yellowheart and Purpleheart. I can't take credit for making the blank. A good friend of mine made it for me. I decided to punch out the black insert on the cap and make one using a left over piece of the blank. I also replaced the black ring in the center band with a piece of Purpleheart. The pen has a CA finish.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Great looking pen! I have a Navigator kit that I am going to try and turn a piece for to replace the insert on the cap and the black ring on the centerband. It will probably be a few days before I get to it. But I don't have to schedule my lathe time around others using it... yet.
