After a fair amount of pens finished with CA-BLO I think I have figured out the way that works for me to get a very high luster finish (even if the pics dont show it)

Great pens.

I've never heard Banksia referred to as Silkwood. Although our Silky Oak is commonly called Lacewood. Banksia often has very tight medullary rays and can have a figure similar to Silky Oak (Lacewood).
