A week with the grandaughter ends tomorrow

Well she goes home tomorrow and the pens are done for this trip. She did the bulk of the turning and sanding on the two wood pens but the acrylic was bit much for her and I wound up doing most of the turning. She did virtually all of the sanding and polishing on it though. I did the CA finish I just don't think an 8 year old and large bottles of CA would mix well. We started the blue BEB slim this morning She got the blanks round and then lost interest when a couple of the neighbours kids came over to get her. They have toys and a pool I can't compete with so she took off and I had to finish it. I would say we have had a pretty good week.

8 yrs old, WOW! There is not another kid in the whole school district, that will have a set of tools anything like those, and she made them with her gramps. Talk about memories.
