The bride's pen is holly, silver and tru-stone turquoise.
The groom's pen is African blackwood, silver and simstone turquoise.
After I finished I noted the wood encyclopedia says african blackwood is the hardest wood in the world, 3700+ jankar! No wonder it was carbide only!

Interesting Pens, Bill.
In the absence of any compelling reason, I would have considered making the Wedding Set, using the same Pen Kit for both Pens, and the White and Darker Blank, similarly adorned too each other.
Perhaps, I am just showing my age.
As individual Pens, they are well made with Great Fit and Finish.
Congratulations,
Brian.

Very nice pens. African Blackwood is certainly a very hard wood but not the hardest. There are several that are harder. I never met a wood I couldn't turn with my HSS tools:).
