Waterpipe

I got some of the waterpipe blanks another member was selling, and finally got around to turning with it. My grandmother-in-law loves silver and baby blue. So I put it on a chrome slim kit.

It's a real plain blank, but there's something very appealing about it.

I have not heard of a "waterpipe" pen before .
Is that some sort of material that resembles a waterpipe or is it referring to the straight shape. ?

The stuff does turn very nice and polishes up great. I've got a ton of this stuff here is a link with some pictures of ones I've made. What is nice is that you are use reclaimed matirals.

Great looking pen Don .
I've made several pens from that stuff and it's great to work with and the pens sell fast (I just don't tell anyone what they are made of , I just say "It's PVC") . It threads beautifuly too .
