Greetings
Here is my first attempt at a wood body FP. The body and cap are walnut and black section and other parts are acrylic. It has an Edison EF #5 nib and Schmidt converter. I wanted to try an extra fine nib because sometimes a fine nib seemed made a line too thick and wet for note taking.
Finish is CA.
Pen overall length = 5.9"
Pen uncapped = 5.33"
Max body dia = 0.58"

I learned a lot about assembling the threaded adapters the wood. My next one will be better.

C & C welcomed as always.

That is beautiful! I like the color combinations. Sometimes simple is better (i.e.., walnut and maple). The profile is nice, and the finished pen is very nicely proportioned.

I especially like the center embellishments!

Well done.

Thanks for the kind words.

Here's a little update. I a brought it to work without really trying it at home. I put it in my pocket and the body is so long that the clip won't hook on my pocket. The nib was way too dry it didn't start easily. A tune up and polish and now it writes nice. I have to pay attention to proportions more.
