Walnut and Cherry Laminate

I made a bunch of blanks a couple days ago out of some scrap Walnut and Cherry. This is my third attempt. I'm starting to feel comfortable with the center and the general shape. By the way...thank you everyone for all your valuable input. HUGE difference in my approach! Although my picture-taking ability is sadly lacking![:0] I'll address that later.

Oh...There's a hole..it's a standard slimline kit with the gold button in the end. I guess I have the angle funny. Closed would be cool though. Maybe I should try that next![]
