Walnut Burl---Sadona

This is my first Sadona. The wood is Walnut Burl. The kit is a FP.

Loogs great! I never seen walnut look so red. Is it my computer? Or is the color true to life?

Gary the wood is has way to much light on it. I have a hard time with pens that are this dark or white. I know if I had a light booth it would work btter---just no where to set one up. It is a killer Walnut burl. I was only able to get enough for my personal use---may 10 blanks and I am almost out. It was a good size burl its hard to find this much going on in 3/4 of a inch. I was wanting to show off the wood more than the kit.

Pen looks great, Gary. I think we have similar tastes in pen shapes. This shape seems to compliment the hardware very well. Nicely done!

Great looking pen Gary. What os ypour opinion about the Sedona kit, ease to work w/, peculiarities, etc.?
