I made such a newbie mistake, I was squaring the ends of my home cast blank and the tube was not fully set and pushed down out the bottom making my blank too short. Segmenting time with some scrap PR. Need to be more aware of curing time.....

Mistake or not...That's a beautiful pen! It gives me a few design idea's that I think I want to explore. :wink:

To me it looks Brilliant.
The Blank is Superb, The Segmenting and Aluminium Inserts are Spectacular.
The Fit and Finish is all that one could ask.
Now what was it you said about "a newbie mistake"?

Wow if you had not told us, I would have thought it was by design. It looks fantastic. Suites the kit, fit and finish is great too.

Wow, good save! This turned out to be much more pleasing than I imagine a solid blank would have. Not only does it look like it was planned and deliberate, it looks damn good to boot.
