Hey Guys...been turning...

This is a violet blank I bought from Curtis here at IAP. I have been making the El Toro with his cactus blanks now for almost a year and selling them through a local gallery with positive success.:D

The photographs don’t pick up the colour very well unfortunately.[V]

The tubes were scuffed then painted with some colour matched nail polish that my daughter helped me pick out, glued with epoxy. The final finish is CA buffed out with Micro Mesh and scratch remover.

Thanks Curtis, this one will be in the gallery on Monday.;)

Nice! I hope you sell it quickly! You do know that you are the first one to turn that color, don't you? I have not even made one with it.

That's a great looking pen! The El Toro is really growing on me. Posting the cap does not make it look too long. That one will be sold as soon as it hits the gallery.

Beautiful pen. Love the color.

If it isn't too forward, might I ask what something like that sells for in Oakville?

Thanks again All,

It's in the gallery as of last week.

What do I sell it for, as Much as I feel comfortable selling them for..;)

Usually with a blank that I consider a priemium material and using rhodium or better plating I use a factor of about 4 or 5 times my material costs.
