Vertex Shop Pencil

Just finished my first Vertex Pencil.Kit is very easy to build,single tube.
Used an unknown burl (Thanks to Chris !!)and maple accents after having a catch when I was close to finished size.OOPS!!Was able to save it with plan B,new design elements.
The pencil is heavy,stout and should be a good shop companion.

In my last order I got a Vertex pencil kit. I am glad to hear about the bigger lead. You just can't use a slimline pencil in the shop. The lead is so small that it is constantly breaking. Guess I need to get mine turned now.

Looks good - I like the forced perspective in the last picture. By the way, that was FIG* burl.

Great looking pen! How do you like the click mechanism? Does it feel like it is of good quality?

I believe the lead is 2.0 mm.I haven't met the lead with wood yet but it writes well on paper.

The click mechanism is smooth,it takes a bit of force/pressure to move the bigger lead but it works very well.
