Vertex Click in Spalted Hackberry and Amboyna

Had a blowout on one end when turning this punky spalted hackberry root; added amboyna segments to replace the blowout. 3 coats thin CA and 9 coats of med CA. I left the ends proud of the bushing thinking that the vertex click pen had the same design as its rollerball version where the nib and finial couplers of the rollerball kit sits proud of the bushing (3rd pic). Not the same.

Lovely work Mark, good save with the `oops bands` on each end! Remember, we penturners do not have accidents like blowouts, they are just design changes.. lol
