Venetian Blinds

Walking through the carport, I noticed that my wife had thrown out a wooden Venetian blind we bought at Ikea years ago ("The cord broke," she said). I fished it out of the trash (she loves me for stuff like that), and now I have a lifetime supply of insert-y wood. The blinds were finished in Teak, but I think they were stained birch. Anyway, the slimline was my first chance to play with them, and the cigar is in mesquite. Since the blinds are Venetian, I used a Pellegrino can to outline the inserts, keeping with the Italian theme!

my wife just looks away when I do things like that. I don't think it counts as dumpster diving if it is at your home and no one sees you. Love the slim.

Pens are great. I also love dumpster diving. I find old chairs and reupholster them, but also find many other things.
