Variety of Historic Wood Pens

Here are the completed pens I have from the Senator cypress tree wood. The tree was estimated to be 3500 years old when it was destroyed by fire, and I got some of the remnants from the county commission.
Top to bottom:

• Gun metal slim. This was the first one I did, and it originally had a stylus tip, and I was going to keep it. I changed my mind, and put a regular cap on it.
• Gun Metal Gatsby. This one is destined for a charity auction.
• Black/gold T/N Elegant Sierra.
• Rhodium Art Deco
• Black T/N Art Deco

The slim and art decos are in the etsy shop, the elegant has sold. I have blanks drilled out for a Majestic, and one of Smitty's new Royales, when it gets here. The Royale will be my keeper.

Nice group of pens. No score on the wood. Nice finish. They are too chubby for my taste, but that's entirely subjective.

Yeah, I agree, but if I had given the top 3 a slimmer profile, I would have lost the outer bark that makes most of those dark spots.
