It's been a while since I found the time to make any pens. When I do, its mostly for donations. It felt great to spend most of yesterday afternoon at the lathe. These are 10 assorted pens going to a local fund raiser. I thought it would be nice to have a variety of styles as well as blanks. It also allowed me to use up a few sets I bought to try out that I never got around to. Most of the blanks and all of the pen sets came from Exoticblanks except for the Jr1. Ive had it so long i dont remember where it came from.

The First is a Rhodium Jr II on a self cast - 3 color alumilite/ mini pine cone blank. I almost kept this one for me. (lol)

Second is another self cast black and silver pr blanks on a JR.1 blanks. Ive had this set for a while and thought it would be good to use up. Not a highend set but it worked well with the blank.

Third is a blue dyed black Ash burl blank on a Churchill set.

The last picture is of the entire group. also included were, diplomate prairie rattlesnake, platnum Virage mosaic feather mix, 2 tone chrome elegant Sierra with a green circuit board, Rosewood burl on a black ti/gold cigar, two other acrylic blanks on chrome cigars, and a segmented acrylic stars and stripes on an excutive.

All comments welcome, Thanks!

Beautiful set of pens John! One afternoon . A mighty good afternoon.

What was the charity if you don't mind sharing?

Best Regards, Mark

(I love my money blank pen that I got at this year's MPG from you in the exchange!)

Thanks Mark, Im glad you like it. A local family just lost their son to a brain tumor he battled for years and now his mom was recently diagnosed with something similar. They're doing this to help out with the medical bills.

Those are ten pens that anyone would be proud to own. Very nicely done.

And your thoughfullness should be a big help to the family.
You done a good thing in your work and with your donation.

Wish I was closer.......there are three I would place a bid on.
