M33 Ball projectiles to make some Parker and Cross nib sections for my BMG 50 Cal ballpoint pens.
Removed the rifling marks from the exposed top section and left rifling marks on the unexposed section to show that the projectile has be once fired.

You haven't come across any API round yet have ya? Or worse APIT:eek:

It's cool that you can re-use the fired projectile, should save some cha-ching over getting pulled or un-fired(new) projectiles. And the look pretty nice after 'cleaning them up' too!

Are you putting something on them so they retain their new found shine?

Les,
I love it. Fantastic looking pen. Is the brass piece that holds the twist mechanism and looks like it keeps everything steady in the casing something you made?

A friend gave me a couple of unfired rounds and had the local gun shop take the bullet and powder out. They scarred the bullet pretty bad when doing so.
