This pen wasn't intended to be an ultra cigar pen. I had a premium cigar kit laid out and ready to go. However, when I was pressing the "twist holder" into the top end of the lower barrel, the threaded part of the twist holder collapsed. After some cussing, I beat the rest of the twist holder and the nib section out of the barrel. I had one cigar pen kit left and this is the result. Its defiantly not something I would have done on purpose, but It will look nice in the display case.

PS, After final assembly, the lower section appears to be too wide. The blanks were turned town and sanded to the bushings. I will need to check, but is there a different bushing set for the ultra kit?

Not sure if the Ultra has different bushings but you can easily disassemble the lower tube and bring it down a bit more to get rid of the ledges. The pen looks really nice and will be a good display piece.
