What you going to use for a finish? Or are we going to see the 'natural look'?

What you see is what you get. I sanded to 2000 wet or dry, and then a bunch of micromesh cloth stuff. I'm pretty happy with it.

Oh, and I have a pretty healthy supply of cedar that this old guy gave me. :)

Impressive accomplishment, using inserts. I like the natural finish, but I'd be concerned about cracking in your area especially.

That third pen in the first picture is kind of interesting. Acrylic? Never seen anything like that.
