Here are two slims made from walnut crotch wood rescued from a backyard BBQ! MM-12,000, Triple Buff, 3 layers CA-BLO, MM-12,000, Double Buff, Ren Wax.

It really has a lot of chatoyancy. I forgot to mention that I did add a tiny bit of tung oil to these two to bring out that chatoyancy. I think the CA would have been enough but I didn't want to take a chance. It's too bad you can't rotate the PIX because they change in all views.
