Two Tone Amboyna Burl on a Majestic Rollerball

Made it this afternoon. It's Amboyna Burl with Sapwood on a 22K/Rhodium

Lovely Doc, that sapwood really looks good on the Majestic, nice contrast with the gold accents. Pity there wasnt sapwood on both ends

Beautiful pen, Doc, and that's got to be some of the darkest Amboyna burl I've ever seen- actually looks more like Honduran Rosewood burl, with as dark as it is. Beautiful pen, and great photography, two thumbs up all around!!

Looking at your at your flawless work I started thinking. I love two toned woods but I always place the sapwood at the top of the pen.......

Not sure why, Just happens that way......

Very Very nice. Love the dark wood with eyes. I think a pen with sap wood looks very nice and I have many to make . If you are a doctor> Doc? then you really should keep your instruments in a sterile environment this would eliminate the dust I think :O)

Nice, very nice. I really like the Amboyna Burl with Sapwood.
I have a Majestic Rollerball kit and this makes me want to turn something for it. I can only try to do as nice as you and Charles from Quebec, Canada do. HWH
