Here are a couple pens I made, using the tutorial from the library. Thanks to the Ron, writer of the tutorial.

I enjoyed the challenge of making these, but I have to say, I think I'll keep them and not try to sell any unless someone really wants one. The barrel material gets really thin near the writing end of the pen, and I personally find the nib twist is a little difficult to manipulate.

That being said, they were a lot of fun to make, and a good stretch to my skills. I learned a lot about how the Cigar goes together.

Thanks for looking, suggestions and comments are always welcome.

The first one is koa wood, from my niece, DiscDogs here on the forum. It has a custom finial turned from Bloody Basin Jasper TruStone.

The second one is quilted maple, also supplied by my niece.

Thanks for the comments. Jeff, I'm in the middle of another one now, trying to work through your article. It may take me a couple more days....

In fact, i ran out of epoxy a few days ago and need to take part of my lunch hour to run to the hardware store and get some more.
