For me, the cap finial is too long and not shaped so that it flows with the lines of cap. I did the same thing the first time I made a wood finial.

Interesting comment Gerry. I was worried that I had made the body final too long. The body final is much longer than the cap final.

Those look great Brad, you did a super job on them! Thanks for showing them off. I hope more people will become interested in this kit. As you know, they can be a challenge at first but very rewarding in the end.
