Two newest pens

I finally did a Jr. Gents pen. It started out as straight Tulipwood, but I cut the top tube too short and had to make an adjustment. I cut all the pieces by hand and it was a real pain in A** sanding and fiddling to get the pieces to fit as well as they do. This is the first time I've tried laminated with an angle cut peice and won't be doing it again until I get a bandsaw.

This is a Christmas present for my aunt. Tulipwood on this one too.

Well Gerry, for a hand cut piece I think you did wonderfully. It must be hard but the pioneers did it! Both are beautiful. Keep up the good work.[]

Looks like they were both well worth the effort Gerry - the fit on the laminations is better than I've been able to achieve even WITH my bandsaw!
