Two new pens

I made two pens tonight, while I was waiting for my PITH pen to setup and harden. One is an amboyna burl and a red mallee burl both on a baron. Let me know what you think.

Those Australian burls are hard to beat. Noob question time - what is pith? I keep seeing it, but can't fnd the explanation.

Very nice wood I really like that. The Pens look great. I also do not know what PITH means but I have gathered from reading the posts it has something to do with person to person pen swap or trade or something like that, I think people make pens and donate them and then something is done with them. Len

Both pens are beauties....love the burls. Photos are a bit fuzzy. I am new but I think PITH is "pen in the hat" some sort of pen exchange. sounds like fun and I am looking forward to participating next year

PITH stands for Pen In The Hat. It is where members are paired up and exchange pens that are in a selected genre. Nice pen by the way!
