Two New Pens

Here are two new pens that I made over the weekend:

1. Executive in Black Ti with Afzelia Burl:





2. Sierra Gold Upgrade with Red Acrylic with Cholla Cactus imbedded:

Nice job! Those blanks look great with that hardware, and from what I can tell the finish is really nice too. If I had to make a suggestion I would say the tube ends of the burl could use a little work, I've heard good things about using a sanding mill after turning to true up the ends.

Great Blanks, Beautifully Turned, as mentioned by Joe, a Little more attention to the ends, have a try Sanding Square, so that they sit Perfectly Square to the Nib, and the Clip.

The end of the pen with the burl, was caused by CA sticking to the bushings. The ends were square when turned. I could not find my delrin bushings when I did the CA finish and that caused the issue.
