Two new-ish clay pens.
I wasn't able to show these until after the Polyclay contest was over as I felt the sierra was too similar in cane slices to my contest pen.
But these are now my favorites, the Sierra one has a pale pink background with some holographic glitter for some shimmer and less cane slices to be able to see some sparkle and some depth.
My Breast cancer awareness pen is a gift for a loved one who recently got the news. :(
Looking forward to making a lot more with all my new cane work recently.
Will see what I can come up with. :)

They are both beautiful. It was a pleasure to see yours and the other contestants entries first, and to watch the voting over the time it was open. You do wonderful work.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments.
I had a new order for a recreation of the new awareness pen.
I am thinking I like the new one better then the original.
The pastel green of the leaves seems to mesh better with the softer pink tones.
They all up a little different then the original, add's to their uniqueness I think.
:D

I'm new to pen turning and am amazed each day at the possibilities for blanks. I plan on looking at the Polyclay site and see what it's all about.
Our thoughts and prayers for your relative and family at this time.

I am still very new to the whole pen thing myself. Been working with polymer clay for 3 years, so it was a little easier for me to get into the polymer pen side of things (and I think i may have another addiction). But I agree, I love the variety of endless possibilities with pen blanks.

Thank you, hopefully we will hear more news soon.
