A Vertex in satin with a black/silver body and a Polaris in gold with a red/white acrylic.

The top piece of the Polaris does not seem to seat very well on the pen. There is a very small gap where it meets the body and hold the clip. When turning to extend the writing tip the clip will move around. I cannot see anything wrong that is causing this. If anyone know why this is happening, I would like to know. Did I do something wrong?

Wish I could offer helpful advice. That being said, both are very nice. It's cool FINALLY seeing a Vertex that has something other than carbon fiber on it. CF looks killer, but they all kinda look the same after a while.

The way the pen goes together, it shouldnt matter if the tube is short (but I am sure it isn't, unless the tube was short to begin with)

I am going to try putting a thin nylon washer on it to fill the space and see how it looks.
