First is a Rhodium Jr Retro in Bloodwood (not my blood this time) I actually cut the blank on my finger snatcher (table saw) and the kit is from the CSUSA group by put on by Mike and Linda.

Next is a Rhodium/22kt Statesman done with 90 degree cross cut Granadillo, the Chatoyance of the wood is beyond my photo skills but the pen looks like it could glow in the dark on the fleck side, with a nice grain pattern 90 degrees the other way,

Ken,
Both pens look great as well as the photos. What is the finish??
Sorry, I forgot, both are sanded dry to 400, then 3 or 4 coats of thin CA wet sanded to 600 then a couple coats of Med CA, wet sanded to 1500 , then buffed with Chrome Oxide compound and Renwaxed

You've been a busy bee Ken! Nice to see you are back in the shop. The pens look great and the finish is very nice. I'm a huge fan of bloodwood. I also have some granadillo blanks and now that I've seen how nice it looks I'll be sure to dig them out of the pile.

Your pictures look much better with out the mirror!
